About VWF

About VWF, a hospitality security company in Miami

We are a Miami team that recruits, screens and trains security officers who treat every guest, tenant and visitor with care.

Our story

Our management team has spent more than 30 years in hospitality security. Over that time we noticed something simple. The officers guests remember are the ones who smile, hold the door, know where the nearest pharmacy is and stay calm when a night gets busy.

VWF was built around that kind of officer. We wanted a company where security feels like part of the welcome, the way a good concierge or a front desk agent does. Miami, with its hotels, resorts and busy office towers, was the natural place to start.

Our mission

We recruit, screen and train officers who deliver customer-service-oriented security for hospitality and commercial office buildings. Every part of how we work comes back to that sentence.

In practice, that means our officers are hosts first. In a hotel they help guests find their way and keep the lobby relaxed. In an office building they greet tenants by name and check in visitors without fuss. At a resort they are a familiar presence on regular patrols of the grounds. You can see every way we put this to work in our hospitality security services.

How we choose and prepare our officers

We are careful about who wears our name. Every officer has at least 3 years of security experience, and we prefer people who have worked with a national firm. Each one passes a pre-employment drug screening, a background check and credential validation before starting, and random drug screening continues during employment.

Then we train for the job as our clients see it. That means house rules, guest service, clear communication and calm judgment. We brief each officer on the property before the first shift, so they arrive knowing the routines and the people. Interested in joining us? Our careers page explains both ways to work with VWF.

Who we work with

Our core clients are hotels, resorts and commercial office buildings, and our main service is unarmed security officers for those properties. Learn more about our hotel security officers. We also offer event staffing management, remote video monitoring and security consulting.

We are now growing into hospitality staffing and executive search. We are now accepting requests for cooks, housekeeping, maintenance engineers and leadership roles, and we are building that roster with the same care we give our officers.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Where is VWF based?

VWF is headquartered in Miami, Florida. We work with hotels, resorts and office buildings across South Florida, from Miami Beach and Brickell up to Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and Palm Beach. We also staff teams for clients anywhere in the world, so a property outside Florida or outside the United States is welcome to contact us about officers or hospitality staff.

How much experience does the VWF team have?

Our management team has more than 30 years of experience in hospitality security. That experience comes from hotels, resorts and similar properties where guest service matters as much as safety. It shapes how we recruit, how we train and how we supervise every officer we place, and it is the reason our officers are taught to act like hosts as well as security professionals.

What makes VWF officers different from a typical security guard?

Our officers are chosen and trained for customer service. They greet guests and tenants, give directions, learn names and help the front desk or lobby staff when things get busy. They also watch the property and respond calmly when something needs attention. You choose their look, from a black suit and tie to a tactical presentation, so they fit the style of your property.

How does VWF screen its officers?

Every VWF officer has at least 3 years of security experience, preferably with a national firm. Before starting, each one passes a pre-employment drug screening, a background check and credential validation. They must be at least 18, be eligible to work in the United States, and read, write and speak English. Random drug screening continues during employment, so the standard holds after the first day.

Does VWF provide services other than security officers?

Yes. Besides unarmed security officers for hotels, resorts and offices, VWF offers event staffing management for galas and corporate events, remote video monitoring for properties that do not need someone on site, and security consulting to help you set risk assessment protocols and operating procedures. We are also now accepting requests for hospitality staffing and executive search, including cooks, housekeeping, maintenance engineers and leadership roles.
