Why officers choose VWF
Our officers work in hotels, resorts, office lobbies and events, where the job is as much about hospitality as it is about security. You will greet guests, learn names, give directions and help the front desk on busy days, while you watch the property and handle situations calmly.
Our management team has more than 30 years of experience in hospitality security, and we train with that experience. You will know the property, the house rules and the people before your first shift. Read more about VWF and the kind of company we are building.
Two ways to work with us
Some officers want a steady role with a team behind them. Others prefer to choose their own contracts. We offer both.
As an employee, you work under the direct control and supervision of our management, with strict time and attendance, and you may not work for competitors. As an independent security partner, you accept and decline contracts through the company app and can cancel a commitment without reprimand. Independent partners need 10 years of experience in our market sectors, a valid professional license and their own insurance.
What we look for
Beyond the minimum requirements, we look for warmth and good judgment. The best officers we know are patient with tired travelers, polite with delivery drivers and steady when a situation needs attention. They take pride in their appearance, whether the post calls for a black suit and tie or a tactical presentation.
If you have worked hotel or office lobby posts, tell us. That experience matters here. Learn what a typical post looks like on our hotel security officers page.
Hospitality roles
We are now building our hospitality staffing roster. If you are a cook, a housekeeping professional, a maintenance engineer or a hospitality leader, we would like to hear from you. See the roles we are recruiting for on our hospitality staffing page.
How to apply
Send us your details through our contact page. Tell us which path interests you, your years of security experience, the kinds of properties you have worked, and the areas where you can work. Our team reviews every application and will reach out about next steps, which include the drug screening, background check and credential validation.
