Hospitality Security for Hollywood, From the Beach to Young Circle
Hollywood sits between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, a short drive up I-95 or US 1 from our home base. VWF is a hospitality staffing company based in Miami, and we serve Broward and Palm Beach counties from there. Our management team has more than 30 years of experience in hospitality security, and that experience shapes how we staff a Hollywood hotel: the officer at the door should feel like part of the front office.
Our hotel security officers are unarmed, screened and trained for guest service. They greet people, answer questions, walk the property and write clear reports. You decide the look. A black suit and black tie suits a resort lobby. A tactical presentation works on a parking deck or at a beach gate. Many properties mix the two.
Life on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk
The Broadwalk is the heart of Hollywood Beach. It is a brick-paved promenade along the sand, where walkers, joggers, cyclists, families with strollers and visitors on rented bikes all share the same path. Hotels, small inns, cafes and ice cream shops open right onto it. A property here does not have one front door. It has a street entrance on A1A, a beach entrance on the Broadwalk, a pool gate, and often a public walkway running right past the bar.
That shapes an officer's whole day. Guests come and go in swimsuits and sandals, carrying chairs and towels, and they rarely carry key cards. Day visitors wander in looking for a restroom or a shaded seat. An officer on a Broadwalk post has to tell a guest from a passerby without making anyone feel unwelcome, and a friendly question at the gate does that far better than a stern look.
At the beach gate
Greeting guests by name, checking wristbands or key cards with a smile, and keeping the pool area for hotel guests.
On the Broadwalk
Helping a lost child find their parents, pointing visitors to the lifeguard stands and keeping bikes clear of the entrance.
After sunset
Walking the pool deck, checking that beach doors close behind guests, and keeping the terrace calm when the music ends.
Winter Regulars, Weekend Families and Early Flights
Hollywood Beach has long been a winter favorite for visitors from Quebec and the rest of Canada, and many of them stay for weeks or months. From about December to April you hear French on the Broadwalk as often as English, and some businesses post signs in both languages. Long-stay guests become neighbors. They notice when a new officer starts, and they appreciate one who remembers their name and their morning walk.
Summer brings a different crowd: families from around Florida on weekend trips and travelers from Latin America. Spanish and Portuguese are common year round, Haitian Creole is spoken across Broward, and the Russian-speaking communities of nearby Hallandale Beach and Sunny Isles bring guests to Hollywood too. We look for officers who speak more than one language and try to match them to your guests.
Hollywood is also a few minutes from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Port Everglades. Guests check in late after a flight, leave at dawn for a cruise, or stay one night before sailing. Lobbies see luggage at odd hours, and an officer who keeps the bag room organized and the entrance friendly at four in the morning is part of good service.
Downtown Hollywood and Office Lobbies
West of the Intracoastal, Hollywood Boulevard leads to Young Circle and the ArtsPark, then into a downtown of restaurants, bars and galleries along Harrison Street and the boulevard itself. Downtown has a nightlife rhythm of its own, and the hotels and office buildings there need lobby officers who are relaxed around a crowd and firm about who goes upstairs.
Office and medical buildings along Hollywood Boulevard, Sheridan Street and the I-95 corridor need a quieter kind of welcome. Our commercial office security team places concierge officers who check in visitors, know the tenants and balance the needs of tenants, visitors and building safety. For buildings that only need eyes on the property after hours, we can design and set up remote video monitoring that watches for suspicious activity and reports it to you.
Event Staffing Management on the Beach and Downtown
South Ocean Drive, the stretch of A1A between Hollywood Beach and Hallandale Beach, runs between the ocean and the Intracoastal, with condo towers and large oceanfront resorts side by side. Those resorts have ballrooms, meeting rooms and lawns facing the water, and they host weddings on the sand, corporate retreats, sports teams and family reunions that bring winter visitors back together.
Our event staffing management team covers check-in, guest flow, VIP courtesy and event security for these occasions. At a beach wedding that means a welcome table at the lawn, someone who keeps Broadwalk passersby from drifting into the ceremony and a calm hand when the wind picks up. Downtown, near Young Circle and the ArtsPark, it means guest lists at the door and a smooth walk from the parking garage. We review each event individually before we commit staff.
Hotel Staffing, Events and Jobs in Hollywood
The winter season squeezes every hotel on the beach. We are now accepting requests for hospitality staffing in Broward, including cooks, housekeeping and maintenance engineers, and we are now building our roster for executive search in leadership roles. Beach hotels need housekeeping teams that can turn rooms quickly on busy Saturdays, kitchens that feed both the pool bar and the banquet room, and maintenance engineers who know what salt air does to doors, railings and air conditioning.
We also serve Fort Lauderdale to the north and Aventura just across the county line to the south. Experienced officers who live nearby can apply through our careers page.
