What we do

Hotel security and hospitality staffing services

From the hotel lobby to the back of house, we supply friendly security officers and, now, hospitality staff. Here is everything we offer and where to learn more.

Hospitality staffing

Our newest service. Hotels, resorts and restaurants need dependable people in the kitchen, on the housekeeping carts and in the engineering shop. We are now accepting requests for cooks, housekeeping and maintenance engineers, and we are now building our roster with the same screening we use for our officers. Start a request on our hospitality staffing page.

Hotel security officers

This is where VWF began. We place unarmed security officers in hotels and resorts who act like part of the guest services team. They greet arrivals, help with directions, walk the floors and pool deck, keep an eye on entrances and respond calmly when a guest needs help. Many of our clients choose a black suit and tie for lobby posts so officers blend in with the front desk. Read more about hotel security officers.

Commercial office security

In office buildings we provide concierge-style officers at the lobby desk. A concierge security officer greets tenants, tracks visitors, issues passes where the building uses them, and balances the needs of tenants, visitors and building safety. It is a front-of-house role that happens to keep the building orderly. Learn how it works on our commercial office security page.

Event staffing management

Weddings, galas, conferences and private parties each have their own crowd, venue and schedule. Our event staffing management covers check-in, guest flow, VIP courtesy and event security, led by one team. We review each event individually before we commit, so the team fits the occasion and the guests feel looked after. Tell us about your date and venue on our event staffing page.

Executive search for hospitality

Some roles shape the guest experience for years. We are now accepting requests for leadership roles in hospitality, and we look for candidates who fit your culture, your team and your guests, using what our management team has learned over more than 30 years in the industry. Remote video monitoring

Not every property needs an officer on site. For those clients, we assess the property, design the camera coverage, and set up a remotely managed video surveillance system that watches for suspicious activity and reports it to you. It works well for after-hours buildings, parking areas and smaller sites. Details are on our remote video monitoring page.

Security consulting

Some clients prefer to run their own security team. We help them build it well. Our consultants set up risk assessment protocols and operating procedures for your business, help you hire qualified officers onto your own payroll, and support the day-to-day operation as it grows. One partner, the look you choose

Across our officer services, you choose how the team presents. A black suit and black tie gives a professional, discreet appearance. A tactical presentation is easier to spot at busy entrances and parking areas. Many clients mix both, depending on the post.

FAQ

Questions people ask

What is the main service VWF provides?

Our primary service is unarmed security officers for hotels, resorts and commercial office buildings. Our officers are trained to put customer service first, so they greet guests and tenants, help visitors, watch the property and keep things calm. In office lobbies we provide concierge-style officers who track visitors and balance the needs of tenants, visitors and building safety. Every other VWF service grows out of that hospitality-first approach.

Can I combine several VWF services?

Yes. Many properties need more than one thing. A hotel might use our lobby officers, add remote video monitoring for a parking area, and ask us about hospitality staffing for housekeeping. An office building might pair concierge officers with security consulting. Tell us what your property needs and we will suggest a combination that makes sense, with a free quote for the whole picture.

Is hospitality staffing available now?

Yes. Hospitality staffing and executive search are new at VWF, and we are now accepting requests. We are now building our roster of cooks, housekeeping staff, maintenance engineers and leadership candidates. Because the service is new, we talk through each request in detail so we understand the role, the schedule and the culture of your property before we start recruiting.

How does VWF handle event staffing?

Our event staffing management covers check-in, guest flow, VIP courtesy and event security, and we review each event individually. Before we commit a team, we want to understand the venue, the expected guests, the schedule and the feel you want for the occasion. That way the team we send fits the event, whether it is a hotel ballroom gala or a private celebration. Share your event details through our contact page and we will follow up to discuss it.

What if I do not need an officer on site?

Remote video monitoring may be the right fit. We assess your property, design the camera coverage and set up a remotely managed video surveillance system that watches for suspicious activity and reports it to you. It suits properties that are quiet after hours or sites where a full-time officer is more than you need. We can also combine monitoring with on-site officers during busy hours.
